BLUEBERRY GINGERBREAD | |
1/2 c. sugar 1/4 c. shortening 1 egg 1/4 c. molasses 1 1/2 c. flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. nutmeg 1/2 c. boiling water 1 c. blueberries Mix together sugar, shortening, egg and molasses. Add and mix in flour, soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg. Add boiling water. Fold in blueberries, pour into greased and floured 8 x 8 square pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Good with whipped cream. |
