“BLACK WALNUT FUDGE” IS IN:

BLACK WALNUT FUDGE 
3 (1 oz. ea.) sq. unsweetened chocolate
2 cups granulated sugar
2 tbsp. light corn syrup (Karo)
2/3 cup milk or cream
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 cup black walnuts

Combine chocolate, sugar, corn syrup, milk and butter. Boil until it forms soft ball when tested in cold water (234-240°F on candy thermometer).

Remove from stove; add vanilla and baking powder. Beat until creamy.

Add walnuts; pour into a buttered pan.

Cool and cut into squares.

Cooks Note: Use of a candy thermometer is recommended.

Makes 1 pound fudge.
