WHIPPED TURNIPS 
2 lbs. yellow turnips (rutabaga), peeled and cubed
2 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. sour cream
1 tsp. caraway seeds
1/2 tsp. sugar
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
Sweet Hungarian paprika

Place the turnips in a pot and cover with water. Heat to boiling over high heat. Reduce heat to medium and cook until very tender, 25-30 minutes.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter a baking dish.
