CALIFORNIA CHICKEN 
1 1/2 c. carrots, cubed
1 1/2 c. potatoes, cubed
1 can tuna fish
1/2 c. onions, chopped
2 c. milk
1 c. peas
2 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. butter

Boil onions and carrots together in small amount of water for 15 minutes. Add potatoes and boil until done. Make white sauce of milk, butter and flour and add tuna fish. Add peas to vegetables. Butter baking dish and put in layers of vegetables and layer of white sauce and fish, alternating. Cover with buttered crumbs (optional). Brown in 350 degree oven.
