SAUCY COUNTRY CHICKEN 
5 slices bacon, cut into 1-inch pieces
1 med. onion
1 fryer, cut into pieces
1 (16 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
1/3 c. barbecue sauce
1 tbsp. brown sugar

Saute bacon in large skillet until partially cooked, then saute onion. Remove bacon and onion, set aside.

Drain drippings from skillet, reserving 2 tablespoons. Brown chicken in reserved drippings. Drain excess fat. Combine cooked bacon, onion, tomatoes, barbecue sauce and sugar; pour over chicken. Cover and simmer 45 minutes or until chicken is tender.
