CARDAMON BREADS 
1 pkg. yeast
1/2 c. warm water
1 can canned milk
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
8 seeds crushed cardamon
4 beaten eggs
8-9 c. flour
1/2 c. melted butter

Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup water. Let set. Meanwhile, add enough water to canned milk to equal 2 cups liquid. Bring to a boil to scald and then cool to lukewarm.

Put sugar into a large bowl. Sprinkle with cardamon. Pour cooled milk over sugar. Add 2 cups of the flour and the yeast. Mix well. Add butter and eggs; beat. Add rest of flour and knead. Let rise 2 hours. Punch down. Put in 3 bread pans. Let rise. Bake 25-30 minutes at 350 degrees.

Topping: While hot brush mixture of 1 tablespoon each of butter, sugar and coffee.
