KACAPOORI "GEROGIAN" RUSSIAN CHEESE BREAD | |
1 lb. cheese, Jack and or Cheddar, shredded 3 tbsp. butter, optional 2 eggs Mix all together with hands. White bread dough, maybe homemade or purchased, cut in pieces approx. 6 to 8 oz. Flatten the bread slightly like pancake with fingers. Put in center approximately 1/2 cup cheese mixture. Pull sides of bread up around it, like a pouch and pinch together to seal cheese in. Then flatten, spreading cheese inside. Bake in skillet on stove or in electric fry pan. Turn when brown. Cut into quarters and enjoy. (May add sliced ham to each pocket before sealing. Freeze well. Reheat in microwave. |
