CASSEROLE SURPRISE 
1 lb. ground beef
3 c. shredded cabbage
1 c. shredded carrots
1 lg. potato, sliced
1 med. onion, chopped
1 can mushroom soup
6 slices process cheese

Season and slightly cook the ground beef. Pat 3/4 of the beef in bottom of casserole. Layer vegetables over meat. Crumble remaining beef over vegetables. Pour soup over meat. Top with cheese. Bake 1 1/2 hours in 300 degree oven.
