CHOCOLATE MINT DESSERT 
1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter, softened (or butter)
4 eggs
1 1/2 c. (16 oz.) can Hershey syrup

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 13x9x2 pan. In large mixer bowl combine flour, sugar, butter, eggs and syrup. Beat until smooth. Pour into prepared pan. Bake 25-30 minutes. Cool completely.

MINT CREAM CENTER:

2 c. confectioners' sugar
1/2 c. softened butter
2 tbsp. green creme de menthe

1 tablespoon water, 1/2 to 3/4 teaspoon mint extract and 3 drops green food coloring may be substitute.

Beat until smooth. Spread over cake layer. Chill.

CHOCOLATE TOPPING:

6 tbsp. butter
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Melt butter and chips over low heat. Stir until smooth. Cool slightly. Pour chocolate over chilled dessert. Cover and chill about 1 hour. Makes 12 servings - very rich!
