HOT TUNA PIE 
2 eggs, separated
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 c. soft bread crumbs
1 1/4 c. mayonnaise or salad dressing
2 (7 oz.) cans tuna, drained
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas & carrots, cooked
1 c. green pepper, chopped
1/4 c. pimiento, chopped
2 tbsp. onion, chopped
2 c. mashed potatoes
Melted butter

In large bowl, beat yolks, salt and pepper. Blend in crumbs and mayonnaise; stir in tuna and vegetables. Turn into greased 1 1/2 quart casserole (shallow); smooth top. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Meanwhile, beat egg whites until stiff; fold in 1/4 cup mayonnaise. Spread over casserole to within 1" of edge. Using pastry tube, pipe potatoes around borders; brush with melted butter. Broil until golden brown. Serves 8.
