ICE CREAM DESSERT 
1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
3/4 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. chopped nuts
1/2 gallon butter pecan ice cream

Mix dry cake mix, brown sugar, butter and nuts until crumbly. Spread in ungreased jelly roll pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 12 minutes. Remove from oven and stir with a fork until crumbly. Cool completely. Stir again.

Divide into 3 equal parts. Put 1 part in bottom of ungreased 9x13 inch pan. Spread half of ice cream over crumbs, add second crumbs, spread remaining ice cream and rest of crumbs on top. Freeze 4 hours. May top with whipped cream and cherry.
