BAKED BEAN QUINTET | |
6 slices bacon or 1 lb. pork sausage 1 c. chopped onion 1 clove garlic, minced 1 (16 oz.) can butter beans, drained 1 (16 oz.) can lima beans, drained 1 (16 oz.) can pork and beans in tomato sauce 1 (15 1/2 oz.) can red kidney beans, drained 1 (15 oz.) can garbanzo beans, drained 3/4 c. catsup 1/2 c. molasses 1/4 c. packed brown sugar 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 tbsp. prepared mustard 1/4 tsp. pepper In a skillet cook bacon or sausage until done. Crumble bacon. Cook onion and garlic in reserved bacon drippings. Combine all ingredients, turn into a 2 1/2 quart bean pot or casserole, cover and bake for 1 hour at 375 degree oven. |
