HOT PEPPER RELISH 
5 c. hot pepper
4 c. green tomatoes
4 c. onions
4 c. cabbage
1 1/2 c. sweet pepper
6 c. sugar
1 qt. vinegar
2 c. water
2 tbsp. mustard seed
1 tbsp. celery seed
1 1/2 tsp. turmeric
1/2 c. salt

Soak all chopped vegetables in 1/2 cup salt and 2 cups water overnight. Mix vinegar, sugar and spices. Bring to boil. Pour over vegetables and cook 5 minutes. Pour into jars and seal.
