MUSSELS 
3 lbs. mussels
3 cloves garlic
White wine
1 red pepper

1. In large skillet with lid, pour enough wine to cover bottom of pan 1/2 inch. Add 1/2 inch water.

2. Chop red pepper and crush garlic. Add to skillet.

3. Bring mixture to a boil; add mussels. Turn down to a simmer. Cook until mussels open, approximately 15 minutes. Serve on favorite pastry or alone.
