WILD RICE CHIPPEWA QUICHE | |
1 lb. (10 inch) round partially baked pie shell 1/2 lb. turkey ham, diced 2 c. shredded Swiss cheese 1 c. cooked wild rice 2 tbsp. butter 3 green onions, minced 1/2 lg. green pepper, diced 4 eggs 1 c. heavy cream Prepare pie shell and cool. Sprinkle ham, cheese and wild rice into pie shell. In fry pan melt butter; add onion and green pepper. Cook over medium heat until onion is soft. Sprinkle mixture over ham, cheese and wild rice. Beat together eggs and cream; pour over mixture in pie shell. Bake at 375 degrees for 35-45 minutes. |
