Can use turkey or chicken. PASTRY: 1 1/2 c. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 c. butter 1 egg yolk 3 tbsp. cold water FILLING: 1/2 lb. ham, turkey or chicken 1/4 lb. Swiss cheese 4 eggs 1 tbsp. flour 1 c. milk 1/2 c. cream 1/4 tsp. salt & pepper 3 tbsp. butter, melted Mix pastry together, roll, fit into 9" pie plate. Add meat and cheese to unbaked pie shell. Combine remaining ingredients, all but butter and pour over meat and cheese. Add melted butter. Bake in a 400 degree oven for 30 minutes. |
