BAKED CHICKEN AND DUMPLINGS 
1 chicken
1 tsp. garlic sauce
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 c. water
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tbsp. flour for thickening

Boil chicken, garlic salt and oregano together until chicken is done. Debone chicken. Drain broth away from chicken. Mix water and flour together to thicken broth. Mix in chicken and pour into 9 1/2 x 11 x 3 inch baking pan.

DUMPLINGS:

2 c. self-rising flour
1/4 c. buttermilk or 1/4 c. coffee creamer
1/4 c. shortening

Mix all together and roll out as if making biscuits. Do not cut, lay across top of chicken mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes.
