OVEN STEW 
1 1/2 lbs. lean beef, cubed, don't brown
1 c. chopped celery
6 sm. diced carrots
1 lg. onion, sliced
4 med. spuds, diced
1 (#2) can stewed tomatoes
1 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. tapioca
1 1/2 tsp. salt
Pepper to taste

Mix ingredients in large oven proof pan or crock. Cover tightly and bake at 250 degrees for 5 hours without stirring or watching. This stew freezes well, so if not all used at once, freeze for a future meal.
