EASY CHERRY CHOCOLATE CAKE | |
1 pkg. fudge cake mix 1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling 1 tsp. almond extract 2 eggs, well beaten Grease and flour pan. Combine all ingredients; stir by hand until well blended. Pour into prepared pan (9 x 13-inch glass pan). Bake at 325 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean. Frost after cake cools. FROSTING: 1 c. sugar 1/3 c. milk 5 tbsp. butter 2 (6 oz.) pkgs. semi-sweet chocolate chips (or 1 [12 oz.] pkg.) Combine sugar, butter and milk; boil 1 minute. Remove from heat. Stir in chocolate chips until smooth. Spread on cake. |
