SALMON PATTIES 
1 tall can salmon
1 slightly beaten egg
1/2 c. flour
1 heaping tsp. baking powder
Pepper as desired
Onion as desired

Drain salmon; reserve liquid. Put salmon in mixing bowl, breaking apart with a fork. Add flour and slightly beaten egg. Add pepper and onion, if desired. Add baking powder to reserved liquid; beat until foamy. Pour into salmon mixture and blend well. Drop by teaspoons into hot grease. Watch carefully as they brown fast. Drain on paper towel.
