MOM'S CRISCO DOUGHNUTS 
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. melted Crisco shortening
1 c. milk
4 c. sifted flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. nutmeg
Enough Crisco for deep frying

Mix all ingredients together and put in refrigerator overnight. Take out of refrigerator and let stand 1/2 hour. Roll out and cut. Let rise again and then fry. You can eat plain or use powdered sugar or regular sugar to coat.
