MEATLOAF - BARBECUE STYLE | |
1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef 1/2 c. fresh bread crumbs 1 onion, finely chopped 1 egg 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce 1/2 can water 3 tbsp. brown sugar 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce Lightly mix beef, crumbs, onion, egg, salt, pepper, and 1/2 can tomato sauce. Shape into loaf in shallow pan. Combine remaining tomato sauce with rest of ingredients. Pour over loaf. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Baste loaf several times. |
