PICCALILLY 
1 peck green tomatoes
1 doz. onions
6 red peppers
1/2 oz. ginger
1/4 oz. mace
1 tbsp. black pepper
1 box mustard
5 cents worth of celery seed (your guess is as good as mine)
1 lb. brown sugar

Slice onions, tomatoes and peppers, put in a jar with salt. Mix well, let stand 24 hours; drain off and boil in vinegar (after adding the spices) until clear.
