CINDY'S TEA TASSIES 
PASTRY:

2 c. flour
8 oz. cream cheese
1 c. butter, softened

FILLING:

1 1/2 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tbsp. softened butter
2 tsp. vanilla

Mix flour, cream cheese and butter to form dough. Put 3/4 tablespoon pastry rolled into ball in very small muffin tin. With thumbs, spread dough across bottom and up the sides of cup to form a shell.

Mix filling ingredients thoroughly. Spoon into pastry shell 3/4 full. Bake 25 to 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Let cool in pan 5 minutes. Remove to rack for cooling. Makes 3 dozen. (Stores well).
