1 (12 oz.) pkg. Hershey's semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/4 c. vegetable shortening (Crisco)
50 to 60 fresh strawberries, washed & thoroughly dry

Melt over hot (not boiling) water, chips and shortening. Stir until smooth. Or in microwave, melt on high 1 minute, stir and repeat. Dip berries into chocolate and place on wax paper lined cookie sheets. Chill until chocolate is set. Keep refrigerated.
