1 sm. jar sharp Cheddar cheese with bacon
1/2 diced onion
1/2 stick butter
1 can mushroom soup

Saute onion in butter; turn in soup and heat. Add jar of cheese. Watch closely so it doesn't scorch on bottom of pan. Mix and heat well. Pour over cooked broccoli spears.
