CHICKEN POT PIE | |
1 whole fryer, cooked 1 (16 oz.) bag frozen mixed vegetables 1 lg. onion 3 pieces celery 1 can cream of chicken soup 1 1/2 c. self-rising flour 1 c. milk 1/4 tsp. garlic powder 1/4 tsp. Bell's seasoning or sage (optional) 1 stick butter Debone chicken, put in baking dish. Pour vegetables over meat. Meanwhile, in a separate pan, saute onions and celery in butter; spoon over vegetables. Combine 1 can cream of chicken soup with 2 cups broth from chicken. Pour over vegetables and chicken. Mix melted butter with flour and milk. Pour over chicken mixture. Bake at 400 degrees for 40 minutes. |
