BREAKFAST TIME | |
1 egg 1/4 c. powdered milk 1/3 c. bacon grease 1/2 c. plus 2 tbsp. water 1 garlic clove, minced 1 tbsp. brewers yeast 1 tsp. bonemeal 1/2 c. corn meal 2 c. whole wheat flour 1/4 c. bacon bits Mix first 10 ingredients in the blender. Add wet ingredients to dry and mix until moistened. Turn out onto floured board and knead 5 to 10 minutes. Roll out to 1/4 inch thick. Cut into desired shape. Place on lightly greased cookie sheet. Using a fork, poke a few holes down the center. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 325 degrees for approximately 1 hour. Turn over after 15 minutes at 325 degrees. |
