MICROWAVE LASAGNA 
1/2 lb. ground beef or 1 lb. Italian sausage
1 (32 oz.) jar of spaghetti sauce
1/2 c. water
1 1/2 c. cottage cheese (12 oz. size)
1 egg
1 1/2 tsp. pepper
8 lasagna noodles (uncooked)
1/2 lb. shredded Mozzarella cheese
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese

Crumble ground beef in bowl. Heat 2 to 3 minutes on high until meat is brown. Drain off grease. Stir in jar of spaghetti sauce and water.

In another bowl, combine cottage cheese, egg and pepper. In bottom of oblong dish (13 x 9 equivalent) place 1/2 cup sauce, 4 noodles in one layer, spread with 1/2 egg mixture, 1/2 Mozzarella cheese, 1/2 sauce, repeat process. Cook tightly covered on high for 8 minutes. Cook (still covered) 50 percent power for 30 to 32 minutes. Remove cover, sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top after removing from oven. Recover, allow to stand 15 minutes. (Parmesan will melt.)

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
