COCONUT CAKE 
1 pkg. yellow cake mix
2 c. sugar
2 (6 oz.) pkg. frozen coconut
2 (8 oz.) containers sour cream
1 large tub Cool Whip

Mix cake according to box directions, making 4 thin layers. Mix sugar, coconut and sour cream, stirring well until sugar has dissolved. Spread between layers and cover cake with Cool Whip.

Coconut may be sprinkled over cake, if desired.
