FRUIT COBBLER 
1 c. sugar
1 c. self-rising flour
1 c. buttermilk
1 stick butter
Canned or fresh fruit (cut up & sprinkled with sugar & refrigerated overnight)
1/2 c. water

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt stick of butter in 8 x 8 inch pan. Mix sugar, flour and milk together and pour in middle of melted butter. Mix fruit with water. Add sugar and cinnamon to taste. Pour into center of flour mixture. Bake for 35-45 minutes.
