FRESH VEGETABLE SOUP 
3 lb. soup meat
2-3 lb. soup bones
1 onion
4-5 carrots, diced
6 stalks celery, diced
3-4 sweet potatoes, peeled & chunked
2 white potatoes, peeled & chunked
1 sm. cabbage (2-2 1/2 lb.)
2 cans tomato soup
1 pkg. peas
1 pkg. string beans
1 pkg. corn
1 pkg. lima beans
1/2 tsp. salt or to taste

In a very large pot, put in meat and bones; cover with cold water. Add carrots, celery, potatoes, cabbage and whole onion. After soup boils about 30 minutes, remove onion and skim off fat.

Add all packages of vegetables, 2 cans of soup, salt and water almost to the top of the pot. Simmer 3 hours, partially covered. Stir occasionally.
