NEW YEAR'S EVE PUNCH | |
2 cups sugar 1 cup water 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice 1 (1 liter) bottle carbonated water, chilled 1/2 cup fresh lime juice 1/2 cup fresh orange juice 2 cup fresh grapefruit juice 6 cups (1 1/2 qt.) Riesling wine lemon slices and mint leaves, for garnish Combine sugar with water and lemon juice; bring to boil for 1 minute. Cool, add carbonated water and stir in lime, orange and grapefruit juice. Pour into punch bowl over ice. Add wine. Garnish with lemon slices and mint leaves, if desired. Makes about 1 gallon punch. Submitted by: Cherrie Ballard |
