FRIED OKRA 
1 c. yellow cornmeal
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs for coating, beaten
1 1/2 lbs. okra, cut into thick slices crosswise

1. Combine cornmeal and salt on a plate, coat okra.

2. Heat oil in large saute pan; place over moderate heat.

3. When oil is hot, add okra in batches and fry until golden brown.
