PEPPER'S DOG BONES | |
2 1/4 c. whole wheat flour 1/2 c. non-fat powdered dry milk 1 egg 1/2 c. vegetable oil 1 beef or chicken bouillon cube dissolved in 1/2 c. hot water 1 tbsp. brown sugar Preheat oven to 300 degrees. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients stirring until well blended. Knead dough 2 minutes on a floured surface-use a floured rolling pin and roll out dough to 1/4 inch thickness. Use a 2 1/2 inch long bone shaped cookie cutter. (I cut in bite size squares with a pizza cutter.) Bake 1/2 hour on an ungreased baking sheet. Cool on a rack. Makes 4 dozen dry bones. |
