WILD RICE SOUP 
1 c. uncooked rice, washed (wild rice)
3 c. boiling water

Add water to rice and bring to boil. Cook 50 to 60 minutes. Drain off excess liquid. Through in crock pot. In saucepan saute 1 medium onion, minced with 2 tablespoons butter until tender. Add 1 quart milk in crock pot with 2 cans cream of potato soup and 1 pound Velveeta cheese, cut into cubes. Cook until hot. Crumble bacon on top.
