HOT MULLED CIDER 
1/2 gal. apple cider
1/2 c. sugar
4 cinnamon sticks
6 whole cloves
Pinch of nutmeg

Put all ingredients in a stainless steel or enamel saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Stir occasionally. Reduce heat to simmer for about 10 minutes. Strain and serve. Makes 12 cups.
