MOM'S SKILLET TOFFEE 
1/2 lb. real butter (butter won't work)
1 c. sugar
1 (12 oz.) Hershey bar (or 12 oz. milk chocolate chips)
1/2 c. walnuts, finely chopped

Combine butter and sugar in heavy (iron) skillet and cook at medium high temperature until golden brown, stirring constantly. Pour onto large ungreased platter to cool. Break Hershey bar into small pieces and melt in top of double boiler. Spread chocolate on top of cooled toffee layer. Sprinkle with nuts. Break into pieces.
