BREAKFAST CASSEROLE | |
6 slices white bread 8 oz. grated cheddar cheese 1 lb. pork sausage 6 eggs, beaten 1/2 tsp. dry mustard 2 c. milk 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper Cook sausage, breaking into small pieces. drain well. Break bread into small pieces into 9 x 12 inch Pyrex dish. Add layer of sausage. Top with grated cheese. Beat eggs, and add seasonings and milk. Pour over mixture in dish. Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight. Bake about 50 minutes at 350 degrees. Yields about 8 servings. |
