BREAKFAST SAUSAGE CASSEROLE 
6 slices bread
butter
1 lb. bulk pork sausage
6 eggs, beaten
2 c. half & half or 2 c. undiluted evaporated milk
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. (6 oz.) shredded cheese

Remove crusts from bread; butter bread. Place bread in greased 9x13x2 inch baking dish. Cook sausage until browned, stirring to crumble. Drain well. Spoon over bread slices; sprinkle with cheese.

Combine milk, eggs and salt. Mix well and pour over casserole. Cover casserole and chill overnight. Remove from refrigerator 15 minutes before baking. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until set. Yield: 8 servings.
