CHILI CON CARNE 
1 1/2 c. raw hamburger, lean
2 tbsp. chopped onion
3 c. canned tomatoes
4 drops Tabasco sauce
1 tsp. salt
1 c. canned red kidney beans

Brown hamburger, stirring to separate meat. Drain. Add onion, canned tomatoes, Tabasco sauce and salt. Cover and simmer 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Add kidney beans and reheat before serving. Yield: 4 servings.

1 serving: 3 meat, low-fat exchanges; 1 bread-starch exchange.
