POT ROAST 
4 to 5 lbs. chuck roast
1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes & liquid
1 (16 oz.) can apricots or peaches & liquid
2 sliced onions
1 (6 oz.) pkg. mixed dried fruit
1/4 c. raisins
Salt to taste

1. Place meat in a Dutch oven or other pot large enough to hold it when covered.

2. Mix remaining ingredients and pour over meat.

3. Cook partially uncovered on top of stove over a low flame for 4 to 5 hours, turning meat occasionally. Serve with sauce.
