COUNTRY WILD RICE CASSEROLE | |
3 c. cooked wild rice (1 c. raw) 1/4 c. butter 1 c. chopped onion 1 lb. ground beef 1/4 tsp. pepper 4 c. frozen O'Brien potatoes 1 can cream of chicken soup 1 c. sour cream 2 c. mild Cheddar cheese 1/3 c. bread crumbs Saute onions in butter; set aside. Brown beef, season with salt and pepper. In greased 9x13 inch pan, sprinkle potatoes. In mixing bowl, combine onion, beef, wild rice, soup, sour cream and 1 1/2 cups cheese. Spread over potatoes. Sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup cheese and bread crumbs on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Serves 8-10. |
