CHESS PIE 
1 stick butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 tbsp. meal
1 tsp. vanilla

Melt butter and mix in sugar. Stir in eggs and other ingredients. Pour in unbaked 9 inch shell and bake in moderate oven until set and golden brown. Optional: 1/2 cup buttermilk or 1/2 cup lemon juice.
