CHRISTMAS BARS 
1 box Pillsbury white cake mix
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 (3 1/2 oz.) pkg. Jello vanilla pudding
2 c. milk
1 (4 oz.) jar red maraschino cherries
1 (4 oz.) jar green maraschino cherries
3 oz. chopped English walnuts

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Use large 15 x 10 x 1 inch teflon pan. Do Not grease or flour pan. Quarter and drain well red and green cherries. Chop walnuts. Empty cake mix in large bowl. Add cinnamon and stir.

Cook the pudding as directed using the 2 cups milk. Immediately pour cooked pudding into dry mixture and stir until all is moistened and no lumps remain. Add cherries and nuts; mix well. Pour batter into pan, spreading to edges. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Prepare glaze. Spread warm bars with warm glaze. Cool completely. Cut into bars.

GLAZE:

3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. softened butter

In medium saucepan, combine all ingredients; mix well. Bring to boil and boil 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
