BARBECUED MEATBALLS 
3 lbs. ground beef
1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk
1 c. oatmeal
1 c. bread crumbs
2 eggs
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. chili powder

SAUCE:

2 c. catsup
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. liquid smoke
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 c. chopped onion

Combine all ingredients (mixture will be soft) and shape into walnut- size balls or smaller if to be served as an appetizer. May be frozen by single layer on wax paper lined cookie sheets until frozen and then placed in freezer bags.

To make sauce, combine all ingredients and stir until sugar dissolves. Place meatballs in 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan, pour on the sauce. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Yield: 80 meatballs (can cut in half).
