OLD DOMINION PEACH COBBLER 
6 c. peaches, peeled & sliced
1 c. sugar, diced 1/2 and 1/2
1 (2 1/4 oz.) pkg. sliced almonds (opt.)
1/2 c. all purpose flour
1/4 c. butter, melted
1/4 c. flaked coconut
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tbsp. cornstarch

Place peaches in 1 1/2 quart dish; sprinkle with lemon juice. Combine 1/2 cup sugar and cornstarch and sprinkle over peaches. Combine almonds, flour, remaining 1/2 cup sugar, coconut and butter. Mix until well blended. Sprinkle over peaches. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes or until top is lightly browned. Makes 6 servings. I have substituted pecans for almonds.
