PINEAPPLE UPSIDE DOWN CAKE 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1 (1 lb. 14 oz.) can pineapple rings
1 yellow cake mix

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Melt 1/2 cup butter in oblong pan, 13 x 9 1/2 x 2 inch. Sprinkle brown sugar evenly over butter. Arrange 8 drained pineapple rings over sugar. Decorate with walnut halves and/or maraschino cherries.

Make cake batter as directed. Pour over fruit in pan. Bake 45-55 minutes. Invert at once onto serving plate.
