CARROT CAKE 
4 eggs
2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. Wesson oil
2 c. self rising flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
2-3 drops of black walnut flavoring
1 1/2 c. grated carrots
1 c. chopped black walnuts

Mix the sugar and oil together. Mix the cinnamon with flour in a small bowl. Add the whole eggs to sugar and oil mixture. Add the flour and oil mixture. Then mix in carrots and walnuts. Then vanilla and black walnut flavoring and bake 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees.

GLAZE WHEN HOT:

1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tbsp. Karo white syrup

Bring to boil, pour over hot cake.
