MINESTRONE SOUP 
2 1/2 qts. water
2/3 c. dry macaroni
1/4 c. beef base or 12 beef bouillon cubes or homemade beef broth
1 (16 oz.) jar canned tomatoes
2 med. carrots, peeled & diced
1 med. onion, peeled & diced
1 lg. stalk celery, sliced up
1 tbsp. oregano
1 1/2 tsp. basil
Frozen green beans & zucchini slices
1/2 to 1 lb. can kidney beans, drained

Prepare beef base and water according to jar directions. Add tomatoes, carrots, onions, celery and spices and simmer until tender. Add green beans, zucchini, kidney beans and macaroni and simmer about 15 minutes more. Serve hot.

NOTE: You can use Italian green beans, garbanzo beans, etc. in addition to these vegetables or as substitutes. Macaroni can be ditalini, shells or elbows.
